Recommended Use
Recommended Use
Sift 2-4 grams (1-2 teaspoons) of matcha into your bowl, adjusting to taste. For lighter and smoother, use less, for richer and bolder, use more.
Add 2 ounces of water that is no hotter than 176°F as excessive heat can diminish the nuances of the flavor.
Using a chasen (bamboo whisk), whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion (not circles) until the matcha is fully aerated and develops a fine froth - approximately 15 seconds.
Add more water as needed, and enjoy as is, or with milk of choice as a latte.
